Our W.I. East Thorpe has been in existence since 1963, so we had our 60th birthday last year!  We are a really friendly group and as well as welcoming new members, we have ladies who have been with us for many years!  We have a good mixture of entertaining and interesting speakers and events, and we also arrange trips, visits, lunches and coffee mornings throughout the year, but especially during the summer. We have a book club and a craft group who meet monthly. The craft group have regularly entered the Salver competition for a number of years now, winning the novice cup in 2022.  We have welcomed lots of new members recently and continue to be very busy and active.
